A Day At Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The next day it started raining 😦 so we had to wait at our rooms till it stopped. For the rest of the morning we spent our time at Great Smoky Mountains  National Park. It was wonderful. Nature was so refreshing. I wish I could go to great smoky mountains national park again during fall, can’t imagine how beautiful the tress will look with all those fall colors.

Well for now we went to the Laurel Falls Trail. It’s a 2.6 mile hike. It’s a paved trail, one of the longest of the four paved trails at the national park.  Black bears are said to be common in that area, lucky we didn’t encounter one. Here are the photos I took at the park, hope you like it.

  1. Just finished watching a repeat episode on PBS tonight of the series on our national parks, and one of the ones covered in this installment was Great Smoky Mountains. I’ve never been there, but it’s good that you have and were able to take pictures of it.
