Hello Everyone! We decided to go to “The Great Smokey Mountains ” during Memorial day weekend. It was a fantastic three days trip. We started around 5 am Saturday morning. It was quite hard to get up so early, especially on a weekend :(. By the time we reached Pigeon Forge it was 1pm. The rest of the day we spent at Gatlinburg going through various attractions.
Sky Lift- the rope way takes us up to 1800 ft. high to the top of Crockett Mountain, from the top we have a 180 degree view of the city.
Ripley’s Haunted House, which my companions forced me to enter. Lucky for me it wasn’t as scary as I thought it to be (Phew!)
While we were waiting to cross the street we came across these dogs. I love dogs a lot, they look cute 😉
Wonder Works at Pigeon Forge, Is an inverted building and everything inside it appears inverted.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not Auditorium consists of more than 500 or more unbelievable collections of Ripley from around the world.
It is believed that if you make a wish while rubbing the tummy of the Laughing Buddha, your wishes come true.
The Village at Gatlinburg is built like a small European town, which has 27 unique boutiques, galleries, eateries, etc.
Well that’s it for today, will talk about the rest of the trip in my next posts 🙂
